CIO & CTO Leadership
Technology strategy, governance, budgeting, architecture, vendors and executive decision support.
About cyberpoint IT • Executive Technology Leadership
cyberpoint IT provides executive technology advisory, cybersecurity consulting, Microsoft 365 governance, CRM strategy and hands-on technical expertise for organizations that need experienced guidance without unnecessary complexity.
The cyberpoint IT Philosophy
Organizations rarely struggle because they lack technology products. More often, the challenge is determining which problems actually matter, whether existing systems are being used effectively and who is accountable for the outcome.
cyberpoint IT was built around a different model. Technology strategy, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, CRM, vendors and business systems are evaluated as interconnected parts of the organization.
The objective is straightforward: help leadership understand the technology environment, make sound decisions and ensure those decisions are translated into practical action.
Leadership Background
Teddy Cerra, MBA is the Founder and Executive Technology Advisor at cyberpoint IT. His career brings together executive technology leadership, cybersecurity expertise, business systems strategy and a professional background built in high-stakes environments.
Before building his career in technology leadership, Teddy served as a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service and spent more than 25 years in law enforcement and emergency services. Those environments demanded preparation, discretion, situational awareness, sound judgment and accountability when the stakes were high. Those same principles continue to shape how he approaches cybersecurity risk, technology governance and executive decision making.
His technology career has included leadership as a CIO, CTO, IT Director and Fractional CIO, along with senior consulting roles requiring hands-on responsibility for complex technology environments. He has led initiatives involving cloud modernization, cybersecurity governance, Microsoft 365, infrastructure, vendor strategy, CRM architecture, data management and enterprise systems.
What distinguishes Teddy’s approach is the ability to operate at both the executive and technical levels. He can work with leadership on technology strategy, budgeting, risk, governance and vendor accountability, then move directly into identity, Microsoft 365, infrastructure, security controls or CRM architecture when deeper technical involvement is required.
His experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Wealthbox, Dynamics 365 and other business platforms also gives cyberpoint IT a broader perspective than traditional infrastructure-focused consulting. Technology decisions are evaluated in the context of how people work, how data moves through the organization and how leadership receives the information needed to make decisions.
cyberpoint IT was built around that combination of executive judgment and technical depth. The goal is not to sell more technology. It is to help organizations understand what matters, reduce avoidable risk, establish clear ownership and make technology decisions that support the business.
For clients, that means having an advisor who can challenge assumptions, translate technical issues into business terms, coordinate providers and remain accountable for helping important initiatives move from discussion to execution.
Experience That Shapes the Advisory Model
cyberpoint IT combines executive-level technology leadership with practical experience across the disciplines organizations rely on every day.
Technology strategy, governance, budgeting, architecture, vendors and executive decision support.
Identity, email security, endpoint protection, risk management, incident readiness and governance.
Entra ID, Conditional Access, Exchange Online, Defender, Intune and collaboration governance.
Salesforce, HubSpot, Wealthbox, Dynamics 365, automation, data architecture and reporting.
Worthy of Trust and Confidence
The cyberpoint IT brand reflects a standard of professional responsibility rather than a marketing slogan. Technology leaders are routinely trusted with systems, information, business continuity and decisions that affect the entire organization.
Understand the environment, dependencies and consequences before making important changes.
Treat sensitive business, security and organizational information with appropriate care.
Separate meaningful risk and business priorities from unnecessary technical noise.
Define ownership and ensure recommendations translate into completed work.
A Different Technology Relationship
cyberpoint IT is not built around selling a particular hardware platform, software product or managed services contract.
The starting point is the organization’s objective. From there, cyberpoint IT can evaluate risk, architecture, vendors, systems and available options before recommending a direction.
That creates a more independent advisory relationship and helps clients make technology decisions based on business value rather than vendor preference.

cyberpoint IT does not require organizations to replace a capable MSP, internal IT team or specialized technology provider.
Instead, cyberpoint IT can operate above and alongside those resources, giving leadership an independent view of recommendations, priorities, risk and accountability.
This model is especially valuable when organizations have technical support available but lack consistent executive technology leadership.
